The evidence for this objective will be a diagram illustrating the common process concerning a case moving through the court system. Similar to my other evidence overviews, this objective related to my Rhode Island Politics class and my U.S. Constitution course. These classes had elements of the United States legal system, thus giving me some background to go on when I began my internship.
What I did with the information I gathered on this objective is compile enough information and decide what I felt was the most important elements of how the case moves through the system. Once I knew what I wanted to say I included it my diagram. What I learned by completing this objective is how a case moves through the system and the result of a case entering the system after an individual files a suit. This evidence is a testament to my skills and abilities, because it is an organized flow chart showing a simple step by step process on how a case movement occurs. This evidence clearly dispalys my understanding of this process.
